Purdey Silvester and Tony Riley undertook annual condition audits of this film set to record the condition of the set and subsequent repair and maintenance works, including statutory matters.
- As part of the reporting process they created a bespoke reporting system which used a scoring matrix and traffic light system so the client could easily identify urgent, short and medium term repairs in a concise summary table. In addition to this a property data sheet was created for each ‘property’ whereby key issues and priority works were highlighted so they could be passed on to the Maintenance Department to aid planning the works.
- As a result of restricted access due to filming obligations the window for inspection each year was just one day therefore the inspections, including high level access, had to be carefully planned and managed.
These detailed surveys and practical reporting has allowed the use of this set to be extended beyond that expected.
